After an busy (but amazing) month of May when our cast performed in THIRTY shows, having "only" two shows on June 18th and 19th will feel like summer vacation for us.  Well, that and putting 15 students through our Training Center classes and getting our nine new cast members ready for their first performances.  Oh, and preparing for two weeks' worth of teen improv camps in July.  Our next big guerrilla improv event.  Come to think of it, June is going to be pretty busy, too!

RenFest Thanks:

The month of May was an improviser's dream.  The players from Nashville Comedy Theater's team "Infinite Jest" performed eighteen shows throughout the festival, plus an additional nine shows with the very talented Royal Improv Comedy cast.  The crowds were amazing, the weather fantastic, and the fellow players are some of the best people in the world to work with.  The experiences and memories are ones that we will treasure for a lifetime.  And to all the new fans we've discovered this month -- we're ecstatic about you most of all!

California dreaming has struck cast member Angi Herrick and her family and it is with heavy hearts we announce she would be packing up and leaving the fine state of Tennessee for California. Last night the house was full and the lights shone down upon a stage and cast that created an entirely brand new 2-act Shakespearian play "Ulysses and the Rambunctious Weasel."
We could not have asked for a finer audience for what was Angi's farewell show. Her characters of Anastasia and Queen Aviatrix were a delight and only highlighted how much she will be missed. Do not think we haven't tried all we could do to keep her smiling face in the state of Tennessee and in our cast; bribery, coercion, promises of daily homemade baked goods, but life happens and we won't stand in her way (Maybe.) 


Thank you Angi for all you have given to the cast of NCT, we will miss you, Jay and your family.
