Auditions FAQWhat should I bring with me to auditions?
Your comedy resume, a recent headshot, comfortable clothes & shoes you can move in, and a bottle of water. How long do auditions last? About an hour, including warm-up time. What if I don't have a headshot? We'll take a picture of you at your audition. It's mainly to help us remember who you are while making decisions. What is a comedy resume? Pretty much what it sounds like. A list of everything you've done in the comedy world. It can include: performing in improv troupes, performing stand-up or sketch comedy, taking classes or workshops, attending festivals or shows, etc. You can put non-comedy stage experience (theater, film, tv, commercials) on there if you want. If your comedy resume is just a couple of lines, so be it. |
